Withdrawal symptoms are considered normal with antidepressants that have a short half-life. Lexapro has a longer half-life than, say, Effexor, hence Lexapros withdrawal symptoms are relatively mild. On the other hand, Prozac has a half-life of two to four days (longer than Lexapros); hence Prozac causes the least amount of withdrawal symptoms. If however your doctor decides Lexapro is the best option for your condition, remember no to discontinue the treatment abruptly but taper it off according to the tapering schedule given by your doctor.
