The Newest SSRI Drug is Not Free of Side-Effects in Treatment of Depression and Anxiety Disorders
Intrdouced in the US market in 2002, the latest member of the SSRI family of drugs, Lexapro, has proved to be superior in its efficacy. Studies show that it has fewer and milder side-effects than Celexa, Prozac, Paxil, Zoloft, and placebos too. Yet, it can give rise to side-effects and one should immediately consult the doctor if any symptom occurs, however mild it may be.
