Side Effects of SSRI Anti Depressant Drugs On The Urinary System



Most side-effects of SSRIs are reversible; so are side-effects on the renal system. No permanent damage is caused. Yet, it can complicate renal conditions if taken by patients with severe renal impairment. Does this mean patients with renal problems as well as depression or an anxiety disorder must not be prescribed an SSRI drug?
