This headline from a national report came out in April 2008. Thankfully in our nation we still have the ability to choose who will support us during this miraculous transition in our family life. I felt the sting of this one too before I started fighting back. If only I had access to what I know now! But then again, without my experience I would not have sought out alternatives in the first place.
