Chronic depression is also called dysthymic disorder or Dysthymia. This illness can be serious although not as severe as bouts with Major Depression. Many people dont even realize that someone they know is burdened with Chronic Depression. Usually someone with this disease can live a regular life. They go to work or school and go about their daily lives without so much as to cause a ripple in the water.
